Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
What a joy it is to welcome you once again to this our 17th Annual Keswick Convention and to greet you in the name of the Lord on behalf of the South Florida Keswick Council. We are praying that once again this Keswick Convention will be another experience of great blessing.
God has blessed us over the years with anointed preaching from His choice servants. This year we welcome among us our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Samuel Vassel and his wife, Angela. This is the second time we are having Dr. Vassel as our main speaker. He ministered to us with great blessing in 2008. Dr. Vassel is the Senior Pastor of the Bronx Bethany Church of the Nazarene, New York. He holds a Doctorate in Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary. He is also a graduate of Wheaton College and the University of the West Indies.
Alongside Dr. Vassel, we welcome among us Dr. Erik Cummings, Senior Pastor of New Life Baptist Church of Carol City, Miami, Florida. Dr. Cummings will be the speaker at our Keswick Midday Convention to be held at Metropolitan Baptist Church on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Dr. Cummings is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisiana, and Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. He has an honorary doctorate from Jacksonville Theological Seminary, Jacksonville, Florida.
Once again, let me take this opportunity to say thanks to the distinguished group of dedicated persons who serve on our Keswick Council, to Mrs. Sheila Miller and the members of our combined choir, to Cooper City Church of God, to Metropolitan Baptist Church, and to the several persons who provide valuable assistance with sound, parking, ushering, and catering.
We are counting on your prayers and your generous financial support as we trust the Lord to meet the practical needs of this Convention and the spiritual needs of those of us in attendance. Each year the Lord has been faithful through His people in covering the expenses of the Convention. Your generous support is once again anticipated.
Sincerely in Christ,
Gerry O. Gallimore
